My Grandfather was there on D-Day, Landing at Omaha Beach . He was in command of a Landing Craft he named after my mother. He never spoke of what happened. When he went into the War he had jet black hair. When he came home it was white. He became very successful after the War, retired in his Thirties. His Family meant everything to him.
